Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information World Powers collects, why, and what control you have over it. We collect as little as we need to run the game.

What we collect

Account details: your email address, leader name, and your password — stored only as a secure, one-way scrambled hash that cannot be turned back into the password.
Gameplay data: your nation, actions, chat messages, in-game mail and notification preferences.
Technical data: the network (IP) addresses you connect from and when you were last active. We use these to keep the game secure, stop cheating and detect duplicate accounts.
Push notifications: if you turn them on, your browser gives us an anonymous delivery address so we can send you alerts. You can turn them off at any time.

What we do not collect

No payment details, no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who can see what

Other players see your leader name, nation name and public nation information (such as rank, territory and military strength), and anything you write in World Chat.
Your email address, password, treasury, stockpiles and private mail are not shown to other players.
Game administrators can see account details and game data, including reported messages, in order to moderate the game and help players.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. The game's pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google to download it.

How long we keep data

We keep your account until you ask us to delete it or it is removed by an administrator. Daily backups of the game are kept for seven days.

Your choices

You can change your notification settings in the game at any time, and you can ask an administrator to delete your account and its data.

Children

World Powers is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
